All cocoons dispatched!

We've just put the last of our cocoons in the post - they'll be with our new and returning Bee Guardian scheme members in the next 2-3 days!

If you haven't already done so, now is the time to set up your equipment outdoors! Your Red Mason bees will emerge and fly when the temperature exceeds 10-12 degrees Celsius, with the optimum being between 12-14.

They will need adequate food sources to survive after emergence and prefer flying in dry, sunny conditions. If the weather conditions are right, and there is blossom available, you may release your cocoons immediately.

Let the pollination commence!

Keep the cocoons indoors if the conditions aren't right. Follow the instructions supplied with the Guardian Kit from here on in and you and your cocoons will bee just fine! Please consult the FAQ for more guidance and feel free to contact us if you have any further queries.

We wish you all a happy, warm, and productive Spring!

Best Wishes,

MasonBees
